Implementation: composable, scalable & inspiring
Instead of modernizing existing systems, the platform was developed from the ground up. Initially, a proof of concept was created for a smaller portal. This success enabled the gradual rollout for all major brands such asyacht.de, boote-magazin.de, tour-magazin.de, bike-magazin.de& more.
Our contribution
- Strategic conception & setup of the DXP
- Development of modular frontends
- Integration of all APIs & SaaS services
- Support & Training for the Editorial Team
- Ongoing development in the agile process
The MVP went live in 4 months, and the entire rollout took place in just 12 months – with a focused team consisting of Key Account, Project Management, UX, and 3 Fullstack developers.
Results: More speed, more reach, new revenues
The technical performance improved significantly: The portals now load much faster, all Core Web Vitals have been met. Initial applications of AI – such as for the automated creation of meta descriptions and brand texts – are already in use. The platform is designed so that further AI-driven functions like automated publishing and personalization can follow seamlessly.
Measurable results:
- New paid content revenues
- Synergy effects in feature development across all portals
Internal effects for Delius Klasing:
- Simplified planning with content calendars
- Multichannel publishing for web & social
- Central roll-out developments – build once, use multiple times
Customer satisfaction is reflected not only in regular positive feedback but also in a successful partnership on a growth path: With the implementation of an event platform, an expanded brand shop, and innovative features such as the brand tree for bicycles and a live ticker for races, the user experience has already been significantly enhanced. Further projects are in planning – for even more relevance, reach, and digital experience quality.
